Chateauguay, QC. – (BUSINESS WIRE) – CMP Advanced Mechanical Solutions Inc. a North American leader in the
fabricating and machining of advanced metal products and mechanical assemblies announces strategic plans for the
expansion of its Chateauguay, Quebec manufacturing facility which also serves as its North American headquarters.
The announcement which will see a 30,000 Sqft. expansion to its current facility will also allow CMP to position itself
for aggressive growth over the next several years. Further as a major employer on the south shore of Quebec,
Canada, CMP is expecting to see an increase its workforce as a result of this projected growth.
The launch of this building expansion combined with its current manufacturing capabilities in both Chateauguay,
Quebec and Binghamton, New York will bring CMP’s total North American manufacturing footprint to just under
400,000 Sqft of state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing capabilities designed to service CMP’s strategic industry
partners who’s market segments include, logistic & warehouse automation, light rail & transportation , CT & x-ray
security systems, off-grid power storage, medical products, smart kiosk & self-serve platforms and industrial
enclosures.
Considered one of North America’s earliest adopters of Industry 4.0 CMP has been a leader in leveraging the benefits
of automation and data exchange within its manufacturing technologies through the deployment of VKS (Visual
Knowledge Share), its MES platform, and this latest expansion will allow CMP to complete the transformation its
Chateauguay, Quebec facility into a smart factory.
