Chateauguay, QC. – (BUSINESS WIRE) – CMP Advanced Mechanical Solutions Inc. a North American leader in the fabricating and machining of advanced metal products and mechanical assemblies today announces that it has completed the purchase of a second manufacturing facility adjacent to its current Chateauguay, Quebec manufacturing facility which also serves as its North American headquarters. This 25,000 Sqft addition to CMP’s Canadian footprint comes on the heels of last year’s announcement which saw a 30,000 Sqft. expansion to its current Chateauguay facility. These strategic investments along with several CapEx investments in advanced manufacturing technology for 2018 will allow CMP to keep pace with its current customer demands but more importantly will position CMP for continued aggressive growth over the next several years.

The purchase of this new building combined with its current manufacturing capabilities in both Chateauguay, Quebec and Binghamton, New York will bring CMP’s total North American manufacturing footprint to just under 450,000 Sqft of state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing capabilities designed to service CMP’s strategic industry partners who’s market segments include, logistic & warehouse automation, light rail & transportation , CT & x-ray security systems, off-grid power storage, medical products, smart kiosk & self-serve platforms and industrial enclosures.
